Ruth W. Beachler, 72, of North Manchester, died Saturday, July 5, 2008, at her residence.

Born Oct. 18, 1935, in Lafayette, she was the daughter of John J. and Anna M. Yoder Epp. Her marriage was on May 3, 1953, to Harlon Beachler, who preceded her in death on Feb. 26, 2001.

Mrs. Beachler was a homemaker and a member of the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in North Manchester.

Surviving are two sons, Lamoine Beachler (wife: Marcia) of Claypool and Scott Beachler (wife: Charlene) of New Castle, Wyo.; a brother, Morris Epp of Laketon; a sister, Hilda Metzger of North Manchester; seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.

Services were held Tuesday at the Old German Baptist Brethren Church in North Manchester. Burial was in the church cemetery.
