Thelma K. Price, 93, of Martinton, Ill., died Sunday, July 6, 2008, at her residence.

She was born Jan. 15, 1915, in Rossville, Ill., to Arlie L. and Rachel Ramsey Smith. She married Halford H. Price on Oct. 7, 1933, in Rossville. He preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1987.

A homemaker, Mrs. Price enjoyed bowling, making dolls, sewing and crafts.

Surviving are three sons, Donald Price (wife: Linda) of Walton, Claude Price (wife: Nancy) of Estero, Fla., and Halford Price (wife: Clara) of Kokomo; two daughters, Norma Amsden (husband: Thomas) of Martinton, Ill., and Martha Price of Delphi; a sister, Marjorie Roberts of Frankfort; 24 grandchildren; 12 greatgrandchildren; and many nieces and nephews.

She was also preceded in death by her parents; a son, Kenneth W. Price; two grandsons; two sisters; and one brother.

Services will be at 12 noon Thursday at Baier Funeral Home, Watseka, Ill. Pastor Chauncey Lattimer will officiate. Burial will be at Spring Vale Cemetery, Lafayette. Visitation will be two hours prior to the service at the funeral home.

Memorials may be made to Martinton Church of Christ, Iroquois Memorial Hospice, or donor's choice.
