Deep sea fishing

Harold Shupperd of Burlington is holding two red snappers that he caught while deep sea fishing in Florida. On his first day out, his goal was to catch a shark, and he did. The next day he was hoping for big red snappers, and again, he got his wish. From 40 miles out, in water 150 feet deep, he caught these big snappers, weighing more than 13.5 pounds each. Shupperd retired this year from Indiana Packers in Delphi. He caught the fish recently while he and his wife, Jan, were on a family vacation to Panama City Beach. The photo was submitted by Laurie Shupperd Wardrop, their daughter.
