      Carroll 2 Pony League team defeated Lafayette 7-3 to win the Hoosier Heartland Pony League Tourney championship. The team, which won 15 of its 18 games, is comprised of eighth graders.

Garrison takes 3rd
      Carroll's Megan Garrison finished third out of 27 competitors in the Indiana Junior Golf's State Age Group Championship held at the Indiana National Golf Club at Swan Lake in Plymouth. The two-day tournament was held July 2 and 3, with Garrison competing in the 17-year-old age category. She had scores of 81 and 78 for a total of 159, with the winning score being 156.
