Martha Thompson, 89, formerly of Delphi, died May 12, 2008, in Kailua, Hawaii.

Born in Delphi, she was the daughter of Charles and La Belle Carson.

Mrs. Thompson was a housewife and clerical worker.

She is survived by two sons, Richard of Hawaii and Tom of Washington; two daughters, Suzanne Besaw of Montana and Judy Richards of California; eight grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.

Private services with final interment with her first husband, Richard Thompson, will be held on July 28 at 10 a.m. at Mt. Vernon Memorial Park in Fair Oaks, Calif.
