Christobel J. Adams, 92, formerly of Orange County, Calif., passed away at 1:39 p.m. Sunday, June 22, 2008, at St. Joseph Hospital in Kokomo. She had lived in California until moving back to Kokomo in April of this year.

She was born Oct. 11, 1915, in Carroll County, to Floyd and Cora Lee Starkey Harmon.

She had been an inspector for Ford and was also a security guard for Wells Fargo in California.

She is survived by two sisters, Margaret Reinke (husband: Ervin) of Galveston and Madeline Hines (husband: Bob) of Kokomo; a special niece, Brenda Bell of Russiaville, along with several other nieces and nephews. She is also survived by many friends in California.

She was preceded in death by two brothers, Gerald Harmon and Basil Harmon.

Graveside services were held at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora with Pastor Joe Coffin officiating.

Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
