Five Carroll County 4-H horse members attended the 2008 Indiana State 4-H Horsemanship Camp held June 16-20 at the Hendricks County Fairgrounds. Attending were (l-r): Front - Katie Randol, Kylie Wagoner, Brooke Beale. Back - Molly Craig and Hannah Crawford. Beale was one of the three first year attendees who received the Mike Lancaster Scholarship, which paid for one-third of the cost of the camp. At the end of the camp, Crawford and Beale received their riding group's sportsmanship award. They both received an embroidered green halter.
