Cherrie Jane Davis of Cutler and Christopher Miller of Flora announce their engagement.

They are 2004 graduates of Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School. Miss Davis graduated from Bethel College, Mishawaka, in 2008, with a bachelor's degree in environmental biology. Miller is a senior at Oakland City University, Oakland City, where he expects to graduate in 2009 with bachelor's degrees in business marketing and psychology with a minor in music performance.

Parents of the couple are Sandy and Rex Davis of Cutler and Kathy and Mike Miller of Flora.

An Aug. 2 wedding at the Flora United Methodist Church is being planned.
