Robert L. Horn
Robert Lee Horn, 80 of Logansport, died at 4:10 p.m. Monday, June 16, 2008, in Miller's Merry Manor, Logansport.
Born May 28, 1928, in Kokomo, he was the son of Ruby and Ida Lucille Hull Horn. He was married Nov. 6, 1948, in Young America, to Marilee J. Jones. She preceded him in death March 7, 2005.
A very proud, independent man with a strong work ethic, Robert was a car detailer for the former Rudd-Hutchison dealership for many years. He had also worked at the former Mickey Johnson Ford service department.
Robert's favorite past time was fishing. He also enjoyed a good game of pool and hunting. He especially enjoyed being with family and friends.
He attended the First Assembly of God in Logansport the past five years.
Surviving are a son, Lindell Horn of Logansport; four daughters, Lynn Daniels of Lafayette, Glenda Andis of Logansport, Cheryl Weese of Avilla, and Sandra Kissinger of Logansport; a brother, William Horn of Lake Havasu City, Ariz.; a sister, Shirley Grantham of Logansport; 10 grandchildren, 27 greatgrandchildren, and two greatgreat grandchildren.
Also preceding him in death were two brothers, two sisters and one granddaughter.
Friends will be received from 2-6 p.m. Thursday, June 19, at Fisher Funeral Chapel, Logansport. Services will follow at 6 p.m. Thursday in the funeral chapel with the Rev. Andy Weil officiating. Interment will be in the Crown Point Cemetery, Kokomo.
