Wolfe KAREN WEATHERWAX of K. Weatherwax Photography in Delphi participated in the 28th session of M.A.I.P.P. the first week in June. The institute utilizes the facilities of the University of Northern Iowa to bring a unique educational experience to photographers. More than 200 professional photographers from 20 states studied with 10 nationally recognized photographers.
Weatherwax's week was with Michael Taylor and Monica Sigmon with the main emphasis on lighting, posing, digital techniques, and marketing.
Weatherwax is a member of Professional Photographers of America and Professional Photographers of Indiana. She specializes in portrait photography.
GLENDON WOLFE of Norris Insurance was rec ently named to Celina Ins urance Group agent advisory board for a two-year term. The advisory board of seven members is selected by the company and made up of its most profitable and prominent agents. The board works with company directors to develop and implement policy and changes to help better serve policyholders as well as agents.
Perry Wolfe was also recently named to Grinnell Mutual Reinsurance Co. advisory board to offer his professional ideas in the areas of personal/commercial lines sales and marketing of the company's products.
JENNIFER JESSIE has joined the staff of Clapper Funeral Services, owners of Hartzler Clapper Funeral Home in Brookston, Foster-Clapper Funeral Home in Wolcott, and Clapper Family Funeral Home in Monon. Jessie will be a family service counselor/marketing director, responsible for assisting families with family service follow-up and pre-arranged funerals, as well as overseeing advertising and marketing for all locations.
She is a graduate of Frontier High School with college course work at Ivy Tech State College and Indiana Wesleyan University. She recently obtained her Resident Producers Life License in the State of Indiana.
A life-long resident of the Brookston area, Jessie is the daughter of James and Jamie Buntin. She resides in Brookston with her husband, Rick, and twin daughters, Sara and Samantha.
LISA PERRY has opened a real estate office in Delphi.
Perry has been a real estate agent for over six years and a real estate broker for the past three years.
"Working with other agencies has given me a lot of experience," said Perry. "I have wanted to be more involved in the Delphi community and opening my own business will help me do that. The real estate market is slow everywhere and I have some new, innovative ideas to get your home to the person who wants to buy it."
