The 4-H'ers worked under the direction of Purdue faculty during hands-on learning exercises. During the workshop, they gained technical knowledge in their field and developed life skills such as responsibility, decision making, leadership, and communications. They also received ideas for teaching other Carroll County youth.

While there, the 4-H'ers learned more about Purdue and the campus.

Trip sponsors were: Carroll Co. Junior Leaders, Horizon Veterinary Service, Inc., and Stephan's IGA.
