The Ron and Mandy Cowart family is living their dream of traveling through the country by wagon. The wagon, pulled by eight mules, traveled through Carroll County heading to Logansport. Normally the wagon travels an average of 20 miles a day. Two horses, two dogs and a cat complete the entourage. Cowarts are accompanied by a truck which carries supplies of water and hay for the animals. Along with teenage daughters Becky and Kate, Cowarts began their journey last November from their home in Louisiana, and plan to go to Canada before traveling back home via a different route. They anticipate being gone two years.
