      The title, "How to be Really Holy and Wholly Real" on the devotional in a recent Presbytery Newsletter caught my attention. It seems that some people try so hard to be "Holy" that they cease being real and approachable. And some people want so earnestly to be real that they cease trying to be Holy.

Camden First Baptist celebrates 175 years
      Camden First Baptist Church is continuing to celebrate its 175th year of spreading the Word of God. All are invited to a special day of activities on Sunday, June 29. At the 9:30 a.m. worship service, the church will recognize and honor its 20, 30, and 40-year members.

Announcements
      HIGHWAY 1 will host a benefit concert at the Bee Hive, corner of 6th and Logan Streets, in Burnettsville on June 28. Highway 1 consists of Joe Clothier and Martin Lewellen. There is no admission charge but a free-will offering will be taken. The donations will go toward work projects to be done in Haiti by the Hickory Grove Church Haiti Missions Team in January.
