Mr. and Mrs. Fredrick D. Blue, 2289W SR 18, Kokomo, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary at an open house June 15 at the Galveston Community Building on W. SR 18.

The event is being hosted by their family from 2 to 4 p.m.

Blue and the former Janis Exmeyer were married June 22, 1958, at the Galveston First Baptist Church.

He is retired from Thermodyn Inc. and Goudy Bros., and she is retired from Thermodyn, in the office.

They have four sons, Brett Blue (wife: Trudy), rural Kokomo; Brian Blue (wife: Joan), rural Peru; Mark Blue, rural Kokomo; and Randall Blue (wife: Julia), rural Kokomo. The couple has 12 grandchildren (one deceased) and one great-grandchild.

The Blues also celebrated in February with a Caribbean cruise.

For the open house, they request that gifts be omitted.
