Mr. and Mrs. Gene A. McCarty of 7507 W. 700 S., Rossville, will celebrate their 50th wedding anniversary on June 22. Family and friends are invited to an open house that day from 1 to 4 p.m. at the couple's home.

 

McCarty and the former Donna Neuenschwander were married June 22, 1958, at the Pyrmont E.U.B. Church by the Rev. Keith Smitley.

He is retired from Fairfield Manufacturing Co., Lafayette. A homemaker, Mrs. McCarty is retired from in home childcare.

The couple has three children, Steven McCarty (wife: Sandy) of Wabash, Gary Mc- Carty (wife: Vicki) of Carmel, and Millie McCarty of Lafayette; five grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters.
