Lucille M. Davis, 74, of Camden, died Sunday, June 8, 2008, at her residence.

Born May 1, 1934, in White County, she was the daughter of Charles Edward and Iva Myrtle James Timmons. On June 3, 1951, in Logansport, she married James W. Davis Jr., who survives.

A homemaker, Mrs. Davis formerly sold Avon. She was a member of the Hillcrest Baptist Church.

Also surviving are three sons, Jeffery Davis of Camden, Mark Davis (wife: Melanie) of Walton and Brad Davis (partner: Jon Snider) of Peru; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandson.

Services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Gundrum Funeral Home, Logansport. Burial will be at Hopewell Cemetery, Deer Creek. Calling will be from 4 to 8 p.m. today, Wednesday, at the funeral home.
