Sayers Sayers Jim and Jan Neptune have sold NEPTUNE FUNERAL HOME in Burlington to Stout and Son Funeral Home in Russiaville. The sale was effective June 1.

According to Jim Neptune, the funeral home will remain operational in Burlington.

Neptune has worked in the mortuary business for 52 years, 46 of them in Burlington.

"We've enjoyed working our business and the people of Burlington, but it's time to retire," said Neptune. "We hope our health holds up and we can enjoy retirement for a few years."

Neptune said that the southern Indiana home he grew up in needs a lot of attention so they will be working on that home and spending some time in Florida.
