CARROLL COUNTY GARDEN CLUB will meet June 14 from 10 a.m. to noon and the home of Alex and Elizabeth Martin, 900S. CR900W., in Odell southwest of Lafayette. DELPHI AMERICAN LEGION AUXILIARY will meet June 18 at 2 p.m. in the Legion Hall on S. Washington St.

CARROLL COUNTY REPUBLICAN WOMEN will meet Monday at 7 p.m. at the Flora Senior Center. Aimee Kindred from the Indiana Department of Transportation will be the speaker. She will be giving an update on the SR 25 "Hoosier Heartland" project and will address any questions and concerns. Lindsey Kilty and Penny Titus are hostesses.

The 4th annual MILITARY PATRIOTIC BOAT PARADE & CELEBRATION will be held July 5 on Lake Freeman. The community is invited to the Sportsman Inn deck at 11:45 a.m. to watch the parade pass in review. Afterwards there will be free carnival games, bike wars, music, and food at Monticello City Park from 1 to 4 p.m. A family movie with free popcorn begins at 4 p.m. Military families, of both veterans and young people currently serving are invited to ride the Madam Carroll (free). Teams are needed for a

CANOE RACE Sunday afternoon, running from the Carrollton Bridge to Pittsburg. Teams can sign up through the Carroll County Highway Dept., 574-967- 4244 or email, highway.dept@ffni.com. The canoe race will follow a series of dedications at the bridge. The ceremonies begin at 2 p.m. on the bridge. Around 3 p.m. there will be a demonstration of an antique auto hill climb on the Carrollton Hill, followed by the canoe race.

Flora Community Club KICK Team will host the third annual Flora area

HOME TOUR on June 21 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. The following five homes will be on the tour: Cullan and Becky Eikenberry, John and Autumn Filbrun, Richard and Nancy Hicks, all of Flora; Kirk and Chrystal Ayres, Bringhurst; and Mark and Jill Scharer, Cutler. CARROLL COUNTY RELAY FOR LIFE will host a RELAY IDOL CONTEST at 9 a.m. Saturday, June 28. Anyone interested in performing should contact Ramona Ogle, 574-967-4612 or 765-432-3362. There will be judges, and a prize for the winner. Performers will need to provide their own music, preferably on CD or mp3 format.

Delphi Presbyterian Church will host its SENIOR CITIZENS MONTHLY LUNCHEON June 18 at noon in the church Fellowship Hall. An elevator is available for those in need. Call Susan at the church between 9 a.m. and 1 p.m. at (765) 564-2371 for information or to request a ride.

All those interested in volunteering with the preservation and development of the WILDCAT VALLEY and OXBOW PARK at Cutler are invited to a meeting June 12 at 7 p.m. at the Wildcat Creek Bed and Breakfast.
