Bill and Anna Donnelly of Lafayette announce the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Marie Pearson, to Zachary J. Akers. He is the son of Steve and Martie Akers of Crawfordsville.

The bride-to-be is a 2007 graduate of McCutcheon High School.

Her fiancé is a 2005 graduate of North Montgomery High School and attended Vincennes University and Ivy Tech, Evansville. He is employed at Eagle Hauling and Conveying, Inc., Lafayette.

The couple plans a June 28 wedding at First Baptist Church.
