Leonora E. "Lee" Gerard, 74, of Delphi, died May 27, 2008, at St. Elizabeth Healthcare in Delphi.

She was born Nov. 17, 1933, in Bicknell, to Don and Thelma McHale Mackey. She married Robert L. Gerard in West Lafayette Sept. 17, 1950. He preceded her in death March 7, 1999.

Mrs. Gerard retired in 1992 from Landis-Gyr in Lafayette after 16 1/2 years as a programmer in the electronics lab.

Surviving are two daughters, Janet Gerard of Lafayette and Brenda Welty (husband: Dennis) of Avon; two sons, Michael Gerard (wife: Connie) and Ronald Gerard (wife: Doris), both of Lafayette; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

A graveside service was held May 31 at Delphi Masonic Cemetery.
