I. J. Rader
I. J. "Jake" Rader, 67, of Monticello, formerly of the Camden area, died May 31, 2008, in rural Carroll County. H e was born Nov. 27, 1940, in Green County, Tenn., to Arthur Willie Rader and Bessie Lee Ragan. He married Dorothy R. Ashlock Dec. 31, 1983, at Yeoman and she survives.
Mr. Rader was a self-employed carpenter. He attended Rockfield Christian Church.
Surviving are two daughters, Vickie Isaacs (husband: Fred) and Debbie Smith (husband: Paige), both of Delphi, a son, Gary Rader (wife: Shannon) of Flora; a stepdaughter, Brenda Thurman (husband: Robert) of Frankfort; three stepsons, Bruce Dicks (wife: Shaylene) and Mark Dicks, both of Monticello, and David Studebaker (wife: Kelley) of Flora; seven sisters, Ruth Lones (husband: Pete) of Chandler, Ariz., Lois Brown (husband: Don) and Fonda Spangler (husband: Frank), both of Monticello, Patsy Dyer (husband: John) of Bringhurst, Willie Bechdolt of Camden, Peggy Zook of Delphi and Cora Lee (husband: Jim) of Deer Creek; eight grandchildren; six step-grandchildren; and one step-greatgrandson.
Services are today, Wednesday, at Miller-Roscka Funeral Home in Monticello. Burial will be at Musselman Cemetery near Camden.
