The DNR Division of Law Enforcement presented awards to outstanding Indiana Conservation Officers last week.

Among other awards, officers Ryan Blackman, Blaine Gillan, William Hinshaw, Ron Johnson, Todd Pekny, David Shwanke, Thomas Skinner, Matthew Tholen and Clayton Webb were honored with Life Saving Awards for their heroic responses to flooding on the Tippecanoe River early this year. They evacuated civilians stranded in rising floodwaters.
