Todd Shaffer of Madison Township was recently diagnosed with throat cancer. In response, a group of friends, neighbors and associates of Shaffer and his wife, Cheryl, have opened the Todd & Cheryl Shaffer Benefit Account at Lafayette Bank & Trust.

The group is also in the planning stage of a fundraiser meal and benefit auction. Details will be publicized as they are set.
