Dunning
Former Carroll County Deputy Jason Dunning, terminated due to county budget reductions, was sworn in May 16 as a part-time fill-in officer for Delphi. According to chief Justin Darling, Dunning will fill in on shifts when no other officer is available to work. He will not have regular hours.

Dunning was terminated from county employment April 18. His original termination date was two weeks prior, however he was given an extension so that he could finish police academy training for an additional certification, which would help him be more employable in future endeavors. Dunning said he finished school April 17 and achieved the goal. Dunning also found work as a part-time deputy for White County Sheriffs Department and serves as security at Indiana Beach. "I'm definitely happy to still be in law enforcement," he said Friday. "I'm still searching for full-time employment with other law enforcement agencies."
