Alisa A. Nelson, 40, of Walton, died Thursday, May 22, 2008, at her residence.

Born Aug. 28, 1967, she was the daughter of Dewayne and Martha "Libby" Matthew Fontaine of Wolcott. On Nov. 14, 1991, she married James H. Nelson, who survives.

Mrs. Nelson was employed as a quality control lab technician at Select Seed Hybrids, Camden.

Surviving with her husband are her parents; two brothers, Jeff Fontaine of Wolcott and Matt Fontaine (wife: Arlene) of Lafayette; a sister, Cherise Williams (husband: Jeff) of Lafayette; a stepson, Thaddeus Nelson of Peru; and a stepdaughter, Brittany Nelson of Bloomington, Ill.

Services were held Monday in Galveston. Burial was at Center Cemetery in Young America.
