The Class of 2008 at Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School has three valedictorians and two salutatorians - all girls.
Sharing the valedictorian honor are Angel Jackson, Aurora Shands, and Morgan Yoder. Salutatorians are Krystal Brazel and Kara Overholser. They were recognized last Saturday at Carroll's commencement.
Jackson is the daughter of Marilyn Jackson of Cutler. She was a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Cougar Blues, drama, and MathTteam,

and played tennis. She also helped plan the class's Baccalaureate. Her community activities include Special Olympics Unified Partner, Emergency Medical Technician, and member of the Faith Church of Christ youth group.
She plans to attend Taylor University and major in physics, pre-medicine, and then go to medical school.
Shands is the daughter of Robert and Janet Shands of Flora. She was treasurer of her Senior Class and was a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, French Club and Pep Club. She also was involved in golf, swimming, and tennis,

and volunteered at the Burlington Library.
She will attend Purdue University and study biology. She hopes to go to medical school and become a doctor.
Yoder, of Flora, is the daughter of Darrell and Kris Yoder and Lisa Yoder. She was Senior Class president, and a member of National Honor Society, Student Council, Spanish Club, Key Club, Pep Club, FFA, and the Math Team. She also played basketball and tennis. She is a member of the Faith Church of Christ youth group.
She will attend Ball State University and major in pre-optometry. After four years of medical school, she plans to open her own practice.
Brazel, of Bringhurst, is the daughter of Michael and Stacey Brazel and Sean and Joetta Mc- Gowan. She was Student Council president, and a member of National Honor Society, Key Club, Spanish Club, and Pep Club. Her sports activities included varsity basketball, varsity softball, and varsity golf. She is a member of the Faith Church of Christ youth group, is a 10-year 4-H member, and has been involved in Junior Leaders.
She will attend Franklin College to study athletic training and will play golf there.
Overholser is the daughter of Rex and Suzan Overholser of Bringhurst. Her memberships include National Honor Society, Sunshine Society, FFA, 4-H and Junior Leaders, and she played varsity soccer. She attends Oakbrook Community Church and has volunteered at the Kokomo Rescue Mission and Project Access.
She plans to attend St. Louis University and pursue a doctorate in physical therapy. She would like to return to Indiana to practice.
