Lynn Simms, 41, of Burlington, died at 2:35 p.m. Thursday, May 15, 2008, at her residence.

Born Jan. 14, 1967, in Kokomo, she was the daughter of Paul E. and Clara Faye Gifford Simms.

Surviving are her mother of Flora; her companion, Charles G. Barnard of Burlington; a son, Robert Simms of Darlington; three daughters, Natasha Shepherd and Donyell Shepherd, both of Flora, and Felecia Shepherd of Burlington; three brothers, James Jenkins of Lafayette, Jeff Jenkins of Colburn, and Tim Brower of West Lafayette; a sister, Teresa Sisson of Flora; and five grandchildren.

Funeral service was held Monday at Neptune Funeral Home, Burlington. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
