DELPHI ART CLUB will meet June 5 at 7 p.m. in the home of Carol Wickland, 12261 W. Tippicanoe Ranch Rd. Delphi. She will give a presentation of her art collection for the program. Also members are to bring their winter challenge art projects to the meeting for judging.

Flora First Christian Church will host the third annual

GOSPEL FEST on July 4 at the Flora Park. The church is seeking local talent to perform gospel and contemporary Christian songs in 20-30 minute sets. If interested, leave a message for Miriam at 967- 4246 or email christian.church@ffni.com. Deadline for inquiries is June 6.

CARROLL COUNTY DEMOCRAT PARTY will meet May 22 at 6:30 p.m. at the Flora Pizza King.

THE MODERNS EXTENSION HOMEMAKERS will meet May 22 at 11:30 a.m. at Solomon's Grille in Delphi. Donna Romein will be hostess.

DELPHI FARMERS' MARKET organizers will meet May 26 at noon at the photography studio of Karen Weatherwax, 107 S. Union St. A discussion about rules and regulations for a weekly event is planned. Contact Anita Werling at (765) 564-2169 for information.

The COMMUNITY COLLABORATIVE RAIN, HAIL & SNOW NETWORK (CoCoRaHS) is set to begin a major recruitment and expansion drive into the area. This network of volunteer weather observers will provide qualified participants with free equipment and training on how to accurately read and report daily rain and snow totals. The project's website at www.cocorahs.org provides information on the project and free access to the data collected. A free training session will be held May 28 at 7 p.m. at the Logansport- Cass County Public Library in Logansport. The hands-on session, lasting around one hour, will teach observers how to accurately set up and read their new rain gauges and report the data. Residents of Cass, Carroll, and White Counties will receive a free rain gauge for use in the project network.
