Share-the-Fun winner announced
Group winner Madison Magnificents 4-H Club presented "The Sad Reporter" at the Share-the-Fun Contest. Photo provided The annual Share-the-Fun Contest (Talent Show) was held May 2 in the Delphi Community High School Little Theatre.
Fifty-three 4-H'ers participated in ten acts, which were divided into the categories of group, musical and non-musical. Below is a list of the entertaining acts.
Group
First place - "The Sad Reporter," presented by the Madison Magnificents 4-H Club.
Second place - "A Hee Haw of a Good Time," presented by Deer Creek Delphiniums.
Musical
First place - "There's a Reason" - band combo of David, Robyn, Valerie and Vivian Haley of the Rock Creek Renegades.
Second place - "Kerosene" - vocal solo by Nichole Randle from Tippecanoe Triumphs.
Musical winner David, Valerie, Robyn and Vivian Haley from Rock Creek Renegades 4-H Club played "There's a Reason" in the Share-the-Fun Contest. Third place (tie) - "Eiger" - bass clarinet solo by Lena Schock from Deer Creek Delphiniums.
Non-musical
First place - "Let's Dance" - jazz dance routine by Mary and Betsy Nichols, with their sister Katie Nichols lip-syncing. They are from the Burlington Wildcats 4-H Club.
Second place - "Pink Cadillac" - tap dance routine by Betsy Nichols, Burlington Wildcat.
Third place (tie) - "Ballet on Pointe," Mary Nichols from Burlington Wildcats.
Third place (tie) "On a Tree By a River," a skit by David and Robyn Haley from Rock Creek Renegades.
The contest was made possible with assistance from 4-H leaders, junior leaders, parents, and Extension staff.
Non-musical winner Betsy, Katie and Mary Nichols from Burlington Wildcats 4-H Club titled their non-musical number, "Let's Dance." Betsy and Mary performed a jazz dance routine while Katie lipsynced to the music. They were the first place winner in their category at the Share-the-Fun Contest.
