Rev. William H. Beswick, 61, of Pontiac, Ill., died April 30, 2008, at 11:05 a.m. at his residence. He was a former pastor at Cutler Presbyterian Church.

He was born Oct. 24, 1946, in Louisville, Ky., to the late William Arnold and Helen Smyser Beswick.

Surviving are two daughters, Elizabeth Beswick of Phoenix, Ariz., and Rachel Gaines (husband: Robert) of Pontiac; a sister, Cheryl Muscutt (husband: Jim) of Louisville; a brother, Bruce Beswick of Alderpoint, Calif.; and two grandchildren.

A service was held Sunday in Pontiac. Cremation rites were accorded after the service.
