Mary L. Brubaker
Mary Louise Miller Brubaker, 78, of Lafayette, passed away Monday, May 5, 2008, at 4:05 p.m. at her son's home in Avon. She had been ill since November.
She was born Aug. 22, 1929, in Camden, to the late Henry and Opal Skiles Miller.
Mrs. Brubaker attended Camden High School. She was a homemaker and a home healthcare worker.
She was a member of the Eastside Assembly of God Church in Lafayette.
She enjoyed reading Christian and nutritional books and helping other people.
Surviving are three sons, Dale Brubaker (wife: Anita) of Avon, Stanley Brubaker (wife: Janice) of Vandalia, Mich., and James Brubaker (wife: Maria Rina) of Fremont, Calif.; three brothers, David Miller (wife: Opal) of Camden, Wayne Miller (wife: Phyllis) of Piqua, Ohio, and Glen Miller (wife: Linda) of Pyrmont; 11 grandchildren; and 11 great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Brubaker was preceded in death by an infant son, Paul Louis, and two grandchildren.
Friends may call today, Wednesday, from 4 to 8 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. Services will be held there May 8 at 10 a.m., and will be officiated by Pastor Delmar Broersma. Burial will be at Musselman Cemetery near Camden.
