Pvt. Danny A. Hampton completed basic training at Fort Benning, Ga., where he received his sharp- shooter badge.

Hampton He is with Alpha 3-47 1st Platoon and is at Fort Gordon, Ga., for AIT training.

Pvt. Hampton is the son of Danny and Chris Hampton and the grandson of Mr. and Mrs. Dean Hampton, all of Delphi. He graduated from Delphi Community High School in 2004.
