The 12th Annual Carroll County Garden Fair, organized by the local garden club, hosted approximately 30 booths at Flora Community Park Saturday. The event was conceived to promote gardening in Carroll County. More ... A surprise party honored Thelma Hodges for her 85th birthday. She was presented with a bouquet of 85 red roses. Those attending were her daughters and sons-in-law, Joyce and David Rider of Brookston and Gelmene and Gene Knight of Deer Creek. Franklin Street, will host a PASSPORT FAIR from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. on Saturday. Postal Service sales and service associates will help residents with passport applications, fees and photos. More ...
