Two former Carroll Jr.-Sr. High athletes competed in the Manchester College Invitational for outdoor track last weekend.

Courtney Rinehart, daughter of Bret and Michelle Rinehart of Flora, won the 5K race with a personal record of 20:26. Courtney Hall, daughter of Tom and Taunya Hall of Flora, placed 5th in the women's hammer throw, 7th in the shot put, and 10th in the discus throw.

Both girls attend Manchester College. The Lady Spartans have a record of 2-0 for the outdoor season.
