      A tool to educate prospective homebuyers on the home purchasing process was announced recently by the Indiana Housing and Community Development Authority (IHCDA). The online homebuyer education course, IHCDA University, is a free service to consumers in Indiana.

Council adopts budget; more cuts imminent

      Carroll County Council met twice last week in an attempt to develop a budget to stop constant overspending of projected income by department heads. They were successful in that endeavor. However, the budget, adopted Thursday morning, may have to be trimmed even further before it is submitted to the Indiana Department of Local Government Finance (DLGF) for approval.

      The community can help save lives by becoming involved in a St. Jude Trike-A-Thon event to benefit St. Jude Children's Research Hospital.
