Hart Comets are runners-up

Carroll County Lady Comets finished the season with a 9-win, 3-loss record and placing as runner-up team in Division 3 at the state tournament held at DePauw University.

Team members are Alana Ward, Rita Bane, Darlene Goyer, Diana and Jessie Knight, Bethany Cadwallader, Jessica Hartman, Kristian Jenkins, Cary Walters, Junie and Shawna Sherman, and coaches Mary McCarty, Jean Lear and Becky Cadwallader. Volunteer assistants are Kay Goyer and Cindy Wagoner.

Places second at finals

DYLAN HART, a third grade student at Delphi Elem entary School, placed second at the

ISWA Folkstyle State Wrestling Finals held March 7 and 8 in Indianapolis. He was part of the Midget 80-pound weight class.

He is the son of Angie Hart of Delphi.
