Carroll 7th ends season

Carroll's 7th grade Lady Cougars split their final two games of the season, finishing with 8 wins and 7 losses.

Last Wednesday they defeated Lewis Cass 31-20. They were led by Madison Welch with 12 points. Kaitlin Ragan added 11 more.

On Thursday they dropped the last game of the season to Clinton Prairie, 18-11. Ragan led the way with 4 points.

DCMS swims to two victories

Delphi Community Middle School swim team beat both Pioneer 114-72 and Benton Central 134-52 last week.

First places against Pioneer went to Jeremie Kauffman, 200 free; Mathew Randle, diving; Ariel Beamer, butterfly; Annie Mose, 400 free; 200 free relay team of Brandon Wilson, Mose, Kauffman and Kendall Baker; Emily Layman, 100 backstroke; and the 400 free relay team of Kauffman, Layman, Mose and Baker.

Delphi won 11 of 12 events against BC. Taylor Thompson won the 200 and 400 freestyles, Annie Mose won the 100 IM and 100 backstroke, Brandon Wilson won the 50 and 100 freestyles, Mathew Randle won diving, Jessie Morrison won the 100 breaststroke. All three relays placed first. Relay team members were: 200 medley - Mose, Morrison, Emily Layman and Jeremie Kauffman, 200 free - Wilson, Kauffman, Thompson and Layman and the 400 free - Mose, Layman, Thompson and Wilson.
