      Q. We plant sweet potatoes in a raised bed the length of our garden. We have had an animal go underground and eat onethird of it. This year, some grew 10 inches long and 8 inches around.

Burlington
      Kiwanis Club meets every Saturday morning at 7:30 at the fire station for breakfast and meeting. The Burlington Area Community Center has a van available to take residents to town to shop, go to the doctor, etc. Those who use the service are asked to make a donation to cover gas and the cost of the driver.

      Deer Creek Presbyterian Church has a new pastor, the Rev Dave Herron. He will move into the parsonage the first of March and be ready to start the second week of March. He and his wife, Sharon, have a son who is also a minister and a daughter and they live in Ohio.

      Camden Town Council will meet at 7 p.m. Feb. 14 in the community building. Camden Woman's Literary Club will meet at 7 p.m. Tuesday in the Reading Room at the Camden library. Hostesses will be Janet Barnaby and Judie Peters. Lynette Martin will present the program on Eleanor Roosevelt.
