Mark and Ann Cripe of Delphi announce the engagement of their daughter, Molly Jo, to Nathanael R. Birt, son of Joe and Sheri Birt of Columbus.

The bride-elect is a 2004 graduate of Rossville Middle/ High School and a December 2007 graduate of Purdue University. She is a registered veterinary technologist in the Large Animal Hospital at Purdue University.

Her fiancé is a 2004 graduate of Columbus East High School. He is a senior at Purdue University where he is studying chemistry.

A Sept. 13 wedding is being planned.
