The Song Writers Association of Mid-North Indiana will present a BENEFIT CONCERTfor the Shirley Martin Scholarship for Young Songwriters. The event will be held at 7 p.m. Feb. 9 at the Lafayette Theater featuring performances by Joe Peters & Friends, Fonda & The County Road Band, and Scott Greeson & Trouble With Monday. YMCA's Domestic Violence Intervention and Prevention Program will hold

IN-SERVICE TRAINING for staffers and other professionals who work with extremely at-risk clients Jan. 31 from 1 to 4 p.m. at 605 N. Sixth St. in Lafayette. The free interactive session will focus on methadone addiction and will include a lecture, video, work groups, practice activities and time to process how to interact with clients.
