      Charles Carroll DAR Charles Carroll Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution met for the January meeting at the home of Lucille Brown. The meeting was called to order by the Regent Karen Ward. The program was given by State Regent Cynthia Stout concerning the Continental Army's winter at Valley Forge.

      Josh and Krystal (Fultz) Tull, Monticello, are parents of a 6- pound, 4-ounce son, James Keith, born Jan. 15 at St. Vincent Women's Hospital in Indianapolis. Grandparents are Mark and Jan Fultz of Delphi and Doug and Mary Tull of Monticello. Great-grandparents are Eugene and Carolyn Fultz of Lafayette and Mary Wild of Monticello.

Burlington
      Anyone interested in serving on the park board as a township representative should contact Alan Jackson at 566-2198. Kiwanis Club will meet Saturday morning at 7:30 for breakfast and meeting at the fire station. Burlington Area Community Center has a van available to take anyone to town for shopping, doctor and hair appointments, etc.

      The youth of Faith Lutheran Church are going to go ice skating Feb. 4 after worship service. Everyone interested is to bring a sack lunch to eat at the church before they leave at 12 noon to go to Lafayette. Special music was provided by Karen Robeson recently at the Deer Creek Presbyterian Church.
