Cougar 7th on win streak

Behind Eric Miller's 26 points, 6 rebounds and 3 assists, Carroll's 7th grade defeated Northwestern 45-36. Taylor Downham added 13 points, 7 rebounds and 4 steals, Brady Wiles handed out 5 assists while Ryan Spesard had 3.

Miller again led a balanced scoring attack with 17 points in a game that saw all 11 players score. The Cougars easily defeated Logan Columbia 55-19. Wiles and Downham added 9 points each. Carroll dominated the boards with Downham grabbing 10, Brian Keith 7, Miller, Mitchel Henderson and Jacob Bush, 6 each. Logan Cawes had 4 assists and 3 steals while Miller also had 7 steals.

The Cougars raised their record to 5-4.

Carroll's B-team, in an abbreviated three-quarter game against Northwestern, defeated the Tigers 29-16 to remain undefeated at 7-0. Jay Hodson and Henderson led the Cougars in scoring with 12 and 8 points, respectively. Keith had a good floor game with 5 steals and 3 assists. Trevor Ayres also had 3 steals.
