Esther I. Flora

Esther I. Flora, 94, formerly of Flora, passed away at 1:10 a.m, Thursday, Dec. 20, 2007, at Milner Community Healthcare in Rossville.

She was born Feb. 16, 1913, at Twelve Mile to Cyrus F. and Jennie Florence Hodge Kinzie. She attended Camden schools. On Feb. 16, 1937, Jakie Skiles officiated at her marriage in Rossville to Paul M. Flora. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1999.

Mrs. Flora was a homemaker and a member of the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church.

Surviving are two sons, Ronald Paul Flora (wife: Kathy) of Flora and Roger L. Flora of Galveston, Tenn.; three daughters, Jennie Ann Filbrun and Rosalene Dutter (husband: Marshall), both of Flora, and Sara Filbrun of Fletcher, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; and 25 greatgrandchildren.

She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister.

Services were held Sunday morning at the Flora Old German Baptist Brethren Church. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery in Flora.

Reinke Funeral Home, Flora, was in charge of arrangements.
