Lloyd L. Anderson
He was born June 8, 1927, in White County, to Arthur and Seena Cramer Anderson. His marriage was to Ruth I. Bougher in Delphi, on Nov. 8, 1947, and she survives. Mr. Anderson, a 1945 graduate of Delphi High School, was a U.S. Navy veteran. He worked as a carpenter for local union #215 of Lafayette for over 40 years, retiring in 1989. He also farmed in Madison Township, Carroll County. Mr. Anderson was a member and former trustee of Radnor United Methodist Church and played on the church dartball league for several years. He enjoyed fishing, mushroom hunting, high school and Purdue University sports and his farm. Surviving are his wife in Delphi; three sons, Ned Anderson (wife: Gina), Neal Anderson (wife: Griffin) and Norman Anderson (wife: Tammy), all of Delphi; five grandchildren; three step-grandchildren; a great-granddaughter; and a stepgreat grandson. Friends may call today (Wednesday) from 3 to 8 p.m. at Abbott Funeral Home in Delphi. Mr. Anderson will lie in state one hour prior to the 10 a.m. service to be held Dec. 27 at Radnor United Methodist Church. The Rev. Ed Selvidge will officiate. Burial will be at Zion Citizens Cemetery near Bringhurst. Memorial contributions may be made to the church or American Heart or Diabetes associations. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home. |
