Bonnie J. Walker Bonnie J. Smith Walker, 64, of Logansport, died at 8:20 a.m. Dec. 23, 2007, at Indiana University Hospital, Indianapolis. Born Aug. 24, 1943, in Logansport, she was the daughter of Howard S. and Joyce P. Hensel Smith. She graduated from Flora High School in 1961. Mrs. Smith had been employed until 2001 as a secretary at Bell Fiber Packaging Company in Marion. She was a member of Faith Lutheran Church near Deer Creek. She enjoyed reading, crocheting and needlepoint, travel and all crafts. She especially liked Mickey Mouse. Surviving are three sons, Scott A. Walker (wife: Kim) and Jeffery D. Walker, all of Logansport, and Michael S. Walker (wife: Stacee) of Converse; her mother of Logansport; a sister, Peggy Walker (husband: William) of Rochester; seven grandchildren, Christina, Teri, Christopher, Hunter, Brooklyn, Brittani, and Braxton; a greatgrandson, Jaylen; niece and nephew, Renee and Timothy, and many other nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews. Her father preceded her in death. Services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday at Kroeger Funeral Home, Logansport. Pastors Sandy Hutchens and Tom McShannock will officiate. Burial will be at Rock Creek Cemetery. Visitation will be prior to the service on Dec. 27 from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Memorial contributions may be made to Faith Lutheran Church.
