Christmas with the Animals
Carroll FFA's Christmas with the Animals includes games and crafts, a visit with Santa, refreshments, and of course, animals. The annual event is held in the 4-H Building and the FFA barn. Mitch Garrison liked petting a "cow" that was just his size. His favorite activity inside (see inset) was decorating sugar cones. Turned upside down, covered with icing, candy and sprinkles, the cones made edible Christmas trees. There was no admission fee for the event, but families were encouraged to bring small holiday gifts and food items for people in the community.
