      Mr. and Mrs. Thomas Appleton will celebrate their Golden Wedding Anniversary with an open house on Dec. 30 from 2 to 4 p.m. at Burrows Presbyterian Church. Appleton and the former Jean Flora were married Dec. 20, 1957, at Rockfield Presbyterian Church.

      Richard and Barbara (Pritts) Pearson of Delphi are celebrating their 50th wedding anniversary. They were married Dec. 30, 1957, in Flora at the Presbyterian Church. He works at DeFouw's in Lafayette, and she is a homemaker.

      Hannah Kaye Unger and Andrew Clinton Cook have plans to wed at 5:30 p.m. July 26, 2008. Pastor Jeff Peters will perform the ceremony at Faith Church of Christ in Burlington. The bride-elect is the daughter of Tim and Kim Unger. She graduated from Carroll Jr.-Sr. High School in May 2007.
