DCHS boys set swim record

The DCHS boys 200 freestyle relay team of Matt Keen, Jared Kelley, Kyle Price and Andrew Burton set a school record against South Newton. Their winning time was 1:36.41 The team defeated Northwestern 98-84.

Kyle Price and Andrew Burton were quadruple winners, while Andy Flora and Alex Price were triple winners. Double winners included Jeremy Sterrett, Jared Kelley and Alex Price.

The boys' team lost by eight points to Western, despite winning seven events. Price and Burton each had 4 wins, Sterrett was a triple winner and Keen and Kelley picked up 2 firsts.

The girls' team lost to both Northwestern and Western. Against Northwestern the 200 medley relay team of Mara Burton, Arielle Brosman, Grace Currie and Kayleigh Morgan won along with Brosman in the 100 breaststroke.

The girls defeated South Newton, winning 11 of 12 events. Jordan Hudelson and Monica Hutsell were triple winners while Morgan Borden, Burton, Morgan, Brosman and Jenny Maxwell were double winners. Brianna Walters, Chelsey Marcotte, Abbey Mose, Nichole Randle and Payton Windell each picked up a win.
