Wilfred K. Beckner

Wilfred K. Beckner, 93, of Flora, passed away at 3:55 a.m. Friday, Dec. 14, 2007, at Home Hosp ital, Lafayette.

He was born June 30, 1914, in Jackson Township, Carroll County, to Frank and Lydia Eikenberry Beckner. He graduated from Camden High School.

Mr. Beckner farmed all of his life. He was a member of the Flora First Brethren Church.

Surviving are two sisters, Rose Pullen, with whom he shared a residence for the last 15 years, and Donnabelle Myer, both of Flora. Also surviving are several nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by five brothers and three sisters.

Services were held Monday morning at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora. Pastors Dan Herendeen and Alvin Grumbling officiated. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
