Paul J. Seymore

Paul J. Seymore, 56, of Rushville, passed away at 6:20 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at his residence.

He was born May 7, 1951, in Big Stone Gap, Va., to Curtis and Flora Bolden Seymore. On June 2, 2003, he married Lucinda Dishon in Delphi.

Mr. Seymore was a U.S. Army veteran who served in the Vietnam War.

He had been employed at the former Sayco in Flora as a buffer.

Surviving are two sons, Paul Derrick Seymore of Tennessee and Michael Seymore of Alabama; one daughter, Elizabeth "Lucy" McKnight of Alabama; one stepson, Erik White of Rushville; two sisters, Helen Keller and Evelyn Pearson, both of Virginia; two brothers, Rufus Seymore of Tennessee and Hubert Seymore of Ohio; and nine grandchildren.

Services were held Saturday afternoon at Reinke Funeral Home, Flora. Burial was at Maple Lawn Cemetery, Flora.
